What a day, what a day, what a day!!!!!! So, after several long months of preparation, and at least a week's worth of 18 hour work days.....we were finally ready to officially launch our new site OnlyInNewEngland.com this morning.........or so we thought...................



I awoke this morning to the beeping of my smart phone (doesn't seem smart at all in the wee hours of daybreak) alerting me that the email blast had gone out announcing today's celebration special of Free Shipping. Within minutes, I was further alerted that the promo code was not working and people were trying to place orders unsuccessfully. Good Morning, Sunshine!!

By 9:00am the server was crashing because of the heavy traffic and people either could not access the site at all or those that could get on were moving at a snail's pace.........we didn't know if we should be excited by the huge onslaught of traffic, or horrified by the technical difficulties - we were actually both. 

After working feverishly to correct the problems, our Web Team has successfully restored OnlyInNewEngland.com to a functional website. You can also reach us by phone, toll-free at 866-466-5974. We have more specials planned for tomorrow and the rest of the week and we plan to make it up to you!!

We have also had many, many people inquiring as to whether Only In Rhode Island is now becoming Only In New England. No, no, it is not. We are the same company so there will be some similarities, but they will operate as two distinctly different sites. Our Customer Service, however, will remain exactly the same and you can expect us to do whatever it takes to make sure your experience with us is a good one, whichever site you're shopping on.


We want to apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we sorted out the bugs during our Grand Opening launch. Everyone who called, e-mailed, and facebooked was so understanding and nice about it all, we are truly grateful.

So, in the wise words of Scarlett O'hara....."Tomorrow is another day......."
